Anti Oxidant for Rubber–PAO (Process Anti Oxidant)

PAO is an inexpensive and highly potent staining type antioxidant. It is most widely used in the rubber compounds. It is in paste form, easy to handle & disperse well used alone at 0.50 – 2.0 phr levels. It provides long term excellent protection to rubber vulcanisates against oxidative ageing at ambient as well as elevated temperatures. It does not contribute to flex fatigue resistance and hence generally used in combination with anti ozonants / antidegradants.

The ANTI – OXIDANTS are used for rubber vulcanization to prevent it from precuring / pre - oxidation. These are developed in Technical Collaborations and foreign consultancy and after practical trials, testing in reputed laboratories. The results are very much comparative to the existing known manufacturers in granules as well as liquid form. The anti – oxidants manufactured by us are in liquid form. The details are as follow:

1) PROCESS ANTI – OXIDANT (PAO): This provides the properties of anti-oxidant to the mix & increases the tensile strength, & life of the rubber.

DOSE: The standard dose is 1% - 2% of the rubber, but it can be reduced & set upto 0.10% - 0.2 % depending on the type of products.

2) PROCESS ANTI FLEX CRACKING COMPOUND (PAFC): It provides a combined excellent resistance to flex cracking and heat ageing. There is no need of using any other additive like any ANTI – OZONANT or similar additive.

DOSE: The standard dose is 1.0 % - 2.0 % of the rubber, but it can be reduced and set as per the requirement & type of products.


P.A.F.C.
(ANTI FLEX CRACKING COMPOUND)
It provides a combined excellent resistance to flex cracking and heat ageing. It is a staining antioxidant that may cause staining by migration. Its potency is very high. & offers cost advantage because small dose is sufficient for long term protection. It is easy to handle & disperse in rubber compounds at normal processing conditions.
